Eva has been in love with photography since the day she stepped into her first high school photo class. While she went on to study business at UTSA and entered the corporate world, her life shifted forever with the birth of her son, Mauricio, in 2000. Photography quickly became more than just a creative outlet—it became a calling. When Mauricio was just three, Eva made the life-changing decision to walk away from a management career at a major mutual fund company to pursue what truly made her heart full: raising her son and building a life around photography. She returned to college to formally study photography, launched her business, and never looked back.

Now with over 21 years of experience, Eva has built a boutique photography brand known for heartfelt imagery and deeply personal service. She has captured hundreds of newborns, expectant mothers, seniors, and families—many of whom become lifelong clients and friends.

At Eva Magaña Photography, sessions are more than photo shoots—they’re luxury experiences. Every client begins with a one-on-one planning consultation, receives expert guidance on wardrobe and styling, and has access to a carefully curated couture client closet. Sessions take place in Eva’s beautiful 1,700 sq. ft. commercial studio or on-location, depending on your vision. Optional professional hair and makeup services are also available to elevate your experience even further.

Outside the studio, Eva’s life is just as full. Married to the love of her life, Shane, they’ve created a beautifully blended family of nine. Faith and family are at the heart of everything she does—whether she’s serving at church, cheering from the sidelines, or Ubering kids to dance and sports.
